With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha McCord Arnett of Columbia, Alabama, who passed away on February 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis McCord and Tessie Davis McCord; her husband Raymond Douglas "Ray" Arnett; and her siblings, Christine Glass, Mildred Lewis, Dorothy Kinlaw, Sarah Peeples, Ralph McCord, Raymond Douglas "Pete" McCord, Randall "Red" McCord and Billy McCord.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Arnett Carpenter (Alan) of Luverne, AL and Kelly Arnett Carter (Art); her brothers, Jimmy McCord (Judy), Wicksburg and Rudy McCord (Peggy); her siblings-in-law, Merle McCord, Leneve McCord and Gary Peeples; her grandchildren, Jessica Carpenter Miller (Wes), Foster Carpenter (Mallory) and Mollie Carter (Ansa); and her great grandchildren, Lily Grace Carpenter, Avery Miller and Mary Alan Carpenter.
