She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Ray Lanton; her son Shane Lanton; her parents, Doris Rose Nance and J. H. Brown, Sr.; and her brother J. H. Brown, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Lanton and Emily White (Ray); her grandsons, David Williams (Harley), Derrick Williams (Charlotte) and Shane Williams (Eliza); her great grandchildren, Bryce and Penelope; her siblings, David Brown, Gary Brown, Ann Black, Donna Attell, Angela Lee and Sherry Gilland; and her stepchildren, Faye Sims and Ray Lanton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
