He was predeceased by: his former wife Virginia; his children, Richard Edward Plemons Sr., Venita Faye Campbell and Linda Sue Hoppe; and his brothers, Frankie, Doyle, Harold, Glen and Hugh Plemons.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Frances Halbrooks Plemons; his daughter Cindy Shaw (Al); his stepchildren, Jimmie Halbrooks (Bonnie), Tommy Halbrooks (Amy), Geoff Halbrooks (Lisa), Pat Halbrooks (Kristy) and Kay Tersigni; and his sister Faye Ballentine Thirteen (Dennis). He is also survived by Grandchildren, Twenty-six-Great Grandchildren and, One-Great Great Grandchild Seventeen Step-Grandchildren, Thirty-five Step- Great Grandchildren and, Six -Step Great-Great Grandchildren Pallbearers will be grandsons.
