He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Barber Hughes; his children, Gail Hughes Donaldson (Andy), Samantha Hughes Cook (Kevin) and Henry Drexal Hughes, II (Seleana); his stepchildren, Jocelyn MacRae of Kenmore, NY and James MacRae (Jean) of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Era Womack of Webb, AL, Cathy McCullough of Webb, AL, Vicki Turner of Webb, AL, Dennis Hughes (Faith) and Rodney Hughes; his grandchildren, Emma Donaldson, Ava Donaldson, Brook Hughes, Brianna Hughes, Austin Hughes, J. D. Cook and Cooper Cook; and his stepgrandchildren, Cassandra Porto (Mark), Zachary McKim and Alex McRae.
