He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Buckhannon; and his sister Linda Sue Moegenberg. He is survived by: his wife Janice Moegenberg; his daughters, Ashley Braswell (Robert), Missy Harris (Tad Herring) and Crystal Lee; his grandchildren, Austin Fulton, MaKenzie Fulton, Dylan Braswell, Jared Harris and Kayla Lee; his father Roger Buckhannon; and his siblings, Bruce Moegenberg (Cindy) and Barbara Ann Horne. He is also survived by his fur babies; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in his honor.
