She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Bishop; her parents, Will Purser and Sally Purser; and her siblings, Mary Purser Ragland and Woodrow Purser.
She is survived by: her daughter Sally Bishop Sterling (Ken); her grandsons, William Stanley Hand and John David Hand; and her great grandchildren, Mary Grace Hand, Anna Leigh Hand and Elizabeth Claire Hand.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (800 N Duncan Ave, Amite City, LA 70422). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
