She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Savage and Mamie Phillips Bradshaw. She is survived by: her husband George Purdy, Sr.; her children, Georgette Farmer, Cheryl Jacobs and George Purdy; her sisters, Sandra Savage and Frances Milton; her grandchildren, Charity Lumpkins, Andrew Bertram, Evelyn Bertram, Kyra Jacobs, Alexis Jacobs and Harley Jacobs; and her great grandchild Nico Wooten. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home, Inc. (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery.
