He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jerry Austin and Robert "Bob" Austin; and his parents, Walton L. Austin and Mary Nell Pennington Austin. He is survived by: his children, Brandi Troxtel (Scott) of Tuscaloosa, Brittney Porter (Bradley) of Romulus, Adam Austin of San Diego, CA and Abraham Austin of Odenville; his brother Joseph "Joe" Austin (Anne) of Akron; and his granddaughters, Lily Kate Porter and Sophie Ellen Porter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skelton Funeral Home (2105 2nd St SW, Reform, AL 35481). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Skelton Funeral Home Chapel (2105 2nd St SW, Reform, AL 35481).
