She was predeceased by: her husband Don Whitley; her grandson Trey Whitley; her parents, Valera Leonard and Robert Leonard; and her siblings, Gary Leonard, Dwight Leonard, Elaine Burns and Nancy Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Whitley (Tamsin), Kenny Whitley (Nita) and Kim Taylor (David); her grandchildren, Lacey Keeth (Matt), Casey Sansom (Cliff), Dillon Kelly (Holley), Dawson Kelly and Tristan Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Whitleigh Keeth, Addie Blake Sansom, Treyton Sansom, Colt Kelly and Emma Kelly.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Coker Cumberland Presbyterian Church (14705 Romulus Rd, Coker, AL 35452). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Before she developed Alzheimer's she was an avid baker and could make anything from scratch.
