With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Allen Snipes of Coker, Alabama, who passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Martha J. Snipes; his parents, Rettledge Snipes and Elmira Snipes; and his brother Johnny Moses (Buster). He is survived by: his daughters, Telisa Lynn Townsend (Geoff) of Summerville, SC, Fonda Leigh Anders (John) of Northport, AL and Kari Michelle Snipes (Michael Boohaker) of Birmingham, AL; his sisters, Teresa Patton of Duncanville, AL and Dora Farley of Centreville, AL; his grandchildren, Kelli Brooke Garner, Mary Amber Williamson, Traci Cyndal Nelson, Charles Kaleb Williamson, Spencer Drake Nelson, Johnathan Tyler Williamson and Ethan Andrew Kelley; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Matthew Garner, Hailey Cheyenne Garner, Preston Lee Garner, Mason Andrew Garner, Kaiden Andrew Williamson, Ryleigh Jo Williamson, Charles Koda James Williamson and Mikayla Raye Williamson.
