He was predeceased by: his former wife Sarah Faye Mullenix; his stepson Terry Mink; his siblings, Cliff Mullenix, Floyd Mullenix, Hubert Mullenix, Ola Bell Smith, Mary Edna Robertson, Catherine Shirley and Tootsie Ayers; and his parents, John F. Mullenix and Effie Findley Mullenix.
He is survived by: his wife Renda Mink Mullenix; his stepchildren, Angie Stakes, Christy Vilaire and John Mink (Christy); and his brother Searcy Mullenix. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, P.O. Box 301, Gordo, AL 35466.
