Sybil Shepherd Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sybil Shepherd of Coffeeville, Alabama, born in Butler, Alabama, who passed away on December 18, 2023 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sybil Shepherd to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herman and Letha Mae Doggett Giles; her brother Jim Giles; and her sister-in-law Sharon Davis. She is survived by: her husband Mickel Shepherd; her daughters, Shonda Gardner (Shannon) and Carman Atchison (Mark); her grandchildren, Logan Gardner, Aidan Gardner, Naomi Atchison, Ella Atchison and Orrin Atchison; and her siblings, Imogene Beard, Devon Gibson, Leon Giles (Donna), Alice Higgins (Jerry), Glendine McCarty, Patsy Cotten (Buddy) and Ronnie Giles. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sybil's name to the Coffeeville Baptist Church, where she was the Church Treasurer for many years.
