Judith Deas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Deas of Coffeeville, Alabama, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Judith Deas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George'Buster' Coate and Onie White Coate; her siblings, Cecil, Robert, George, James, Bennie, Myrtie Fountain, Jeanette Williamson and Effie Byrd; and her grandsons, Robert Lance Criswell and Joshua Wayne Deas.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Pritchett (Kenny) and Kenny Deas; her grandson Chase Criswell (Jenny); her granddaughter-in-law Catie Criswell; her great grandchildren, Maddox James Criswell, Cayson Lance Criswell, John Colby Foster and Alana Anderson; her sister Anna Towsend; her cousin Vivian Paul; and her pets, Blacky, Baby and Fluffy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lathan Funeral Home (1867 US-43, Jackson, AL 36545). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Coffeeville Town Cemetery.
