He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shepherd and Golden Dungan Shepherd. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy David Shepherd, Jr., Renee Shepherd, Courtney Shepherd and Denee Shepherd (Jerimie Gates); his grandchildren, Justin Shepherd, Sydney Gates and Laken Gates; his siblings, Donnie Shepherd (Denise), Janiece Desporte (John), Janette Hamilton and Joan Courington (Jerry); his son Jonathan Shepherd; and his brothers, Dwayne Shepherd and Wilbur Shepherd. He is also survived by Five Great Grandchildren.
