He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Bedwell Pugh and Otis Brackett Pugh; his wife Virginia Clark Pugh; his former spouses, Dorothy Graham Ford and Jimmie Braswell; his siblings, Nonie Bumpers, Louise Johnson, Albert Gray Pugh, Raymond Pugh and Marguerite Garison of Doyline, LA; his children, Linda Pugh of Pell City, AL, Sid Pugh (Rhonda) of Huntsville, AL, Rosemary Pugh Gibbs, Wayne Pugh of Pell City, AL, Kenneth Pugh (Sara) of Flora, MS, Jack Pugh (Luanne) and David Pugh of Helena, AL.; his stepdaughters, Patti Ramer (Randy), Cathy Faison (Ricky) of Daphne, AL and Paula Mallory (Jeffrey) of Daphne, AL.; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Doss (Jamie) of New Mexico, Ben Doss (Julia) of Fayetteville, TN, Jessica Bingham (Zach), Lillian Landers (Wes) of Huntsville, AL, Taylor Gibbs, Luke Gibbs, Prague, Mary Rebekah Daughdrill (Chase) of Huntsville, AL, Daniel, Russell, Austin, Jackson Pugh, Brandon and Kenna Pugh of Helena, AL.. He was also cherished by extended family includes cousins, nieces & nephews.

Due to Covid-19, the family ask that social distance guidelines be followed.

In lieu of flowers, his family suggests making a contribution in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
