We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 63, Ricky J Cothern Sr. of Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Rachel Elizabeth Cothern; and his brother Billy Ray Cothern. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Hall Cothern; his children, April Broussard (Corey), Ricky J Cothern, Jr. (Jayme) and Clayton Anderson; his grandchildren, Oliver Cothern, Ashton Cothern, Zelda Broussard, Devin Solony, Lillian May Anderson and Abigayle Lee Anderson; and his siblings, Wanda Pickren, Wayne Cothern and Wade Cothern. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shady Grove Assembly of God Church (1216 Shady Grove Rd, Coffee Springs, AL 36318). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in Ricky's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
