She was predeceased by: her father Angus A. Watford; and her husband Charles Eugene "Gene" Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Miriam S. Dyer; her son-in-law Aaron of Atlanta; her son Ronald E.; her daughter-in-law Margaret Smith of Dothan, AL; and her grandchildren, Elise Sanderson (Derek), Doug Smith (Jessica) and Bart Dyer (Kelly). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
