She was predeceased by: her parent James E. Ballard of Troy; and her brother James Ballard of Cleveland. She is survived by: her parent Ralph Valentine; her husband Alvin Sheffield of Coffee Springs; her children, Carl Sheffield of Coffee Springs, Melissa Sheffield of Leesburg, FL and Kathryn Bruce of Enterprise; her son-in-law Jason Bruce of Enterprise; her grandchildren, Kevin Gardner of Enterprise, Lawton Dantzler of Enterprise, Jenna of Enterprise, Kallie of Enterprise, Abby Bruce of Enterprise and Carmen Gardner of Bonifay, FL; her nephew Mike Sheffield; and also Evelyn Dowling Valentine of Ozark. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
