She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Ray Thornton, Sr.; her parents, William "Exie" Williams and Lillie Brannon Williams; and her sisters, Edna Earl Card and Ellen Nichols Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Peckham (Tim) of Dothan, AL, Brenda Worthington (Morris) of Ridgeway, SC and Billy Thornton, Jr. (Debbie) of Dothan, AL; her grandchildren, Micah Peckham (Megan), Whittney McPherson (Dustin), Dustin Thornton (Kelli), Caleb Thornton (Elizabeth), Kelsey and Hunter Worthington; and her great grandchildren, Gracie, Cooper, Liam Peckham and Holland Thornton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law.
