She was predeceased by: her husband James N. Strickland, Jr.; her parents, Emery Deakle and Kathleen Deakle; her siblings, Donald L. Deakle and Gladys K. Patronas; her son James N. Strickland III; and her great grandchild Hunter Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara S. Miller (Brasher) and Robert E. Strickland (Juanita); and her sister Sherry L. Strange (late Lynn). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
