He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patterson and Julia Ann Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Delores Beavers Patterson; his daughters, Mona Thigpen (Terry) of Killen and Melinda McKinney (Randall) of Florence; his nephews, Waymon Herston (Carolyn) of Florence and Josh Schmidlkofer (Sarah) of Florence; his goddaughter Mary Nell Krieger of Florence; his nieces, Wendy Schmidlkofer of Florence and Sara Reid (Roger) of Arlington, TN; and his sisters, Catherine Schmidlkofer of Florence and Mary Ann Herston of Florence. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
