It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora Bell Etters Nelson (Clinton, Alabama), born in Whitmire, South Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry and Hattie Sufford Etters; her daughter Darlene Overstreet; and her stepson Buddy Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Frankie Motes of Joanna, Clifton Motes of Wilmington, NC, Kathy Griffith of Laurens and Roxanne Gresham of Newberry; her adoptive children, Tasha Baker of Wilmington, NC and Shane Motes of Albemarle, NC; and her stepson James Nelson. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren, her eighteen great-grandchildren, and her eighteen great-great-grandchildren.
