He was predeceased by: his parent Joe Robert Koon Sr. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Summers Koon; his wife Martha Anne Koon; his sons, Robert Koon (Felicia) of Mobile and Brandon Koon of Clinton; his brothers, Joe R. Koon Jr of Murrells Inlet and Mike Koon of Murrells Inlet; his grandchildren, Leslie Koon, Kellie Kelly (Dayemon) and Robbie Koon; and his great grandchild Branson Kelly.
