It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Sanford (Clinton, Alabama), born in Joanna, South Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Heyward L. Lever and Cora Lee Rogers Lever; and her sister Evelyn Cockrell. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Sanford, Susan Sanford Kascsak and Lori Ann Heaton. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Due to the restrictions placed on everyone by COVID-19 and to keep everyone safe, the family will be having a private gathering to say goodbye to Mrs. Sanford, the family appreciates your understanding in these trying times.
