He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gargus and Vera Eargle Gargus; and his sister Anna Allison. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Blackwood Gargus; his children, David Gargus (Amy) and Donna Brown (Tracy); his grandsons, Blake and Colton Gargus; and his siblings, Randy Gargus (Tandy), Bro. Jerry Gargus, Wanda Wood (Bob), Glenda Leverett and Rita Clowdus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
