She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Simmons. She is survived by: her daughters, Nicole Payton (Jerry) and Katrina Vinson; her grandchildren, Layla Payton and Damion Banks (Mercedez); her great grandchildren, Kylie and Rafe; her father Rev. Addrick Simmons; and her siblings, Edwin Simmons (Charlotte C.), Harold Simmons (Ann) and Charlotte Ann Simmons.
