He is survived by: his wife Faye Owen Blackwood; his children, Joseph Blackwood of Cleveland and Charlene Blackwood Hallman (Chris) of Trussville; his grandsons, Nick Hallman and Noah Hallman; and his sisters, Betty Pass (Arnold), Connie Vaughn (Edsel) and Janice Bramen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
