She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Allen and Lois Allen; her siblings, Jim Allen, Betty Ruth Scott and Wadie B. Edwards; and her son-in-law Al Palmer.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Joe Sherrer; her children, Michael Joe Sherrer (Tracy), Vicki Hayes (Marty) and Bonnie Jo Palmer; her sisters, Maxine Cooper, Pauline Hawkins and Shirley Mason; her grandchildren, Tyler Hayes (Katie), Devin Sherrer, Hayden Hayes (Jessica), Kaley Hollingsworth (Caleb) and Alex Sherrer; and her great grandchildren, Audri Hayes, Peyton Hayes and Hallie Jo Hayes.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel (17885 AL-160, Cleveland, AL 35049). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Mt. Joy Cemetery.
