She was predeceased by: her husbands, Junior Gibson and Jim York; her parents, Jimmy Hollingsworth and Esther Gilliland Hollingsworth; and her sisters, Bobbie Dunn and Jimmie Murphree.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia McGowan, Bruce Gibson (Nena) and Larry Gibson; and her grandchildren, Leigh Ann Mott (Jason), LaDonna Patton (Cliff), Robin Graves (Kenny), Kavin Gibson (Chrystal) and Jessica Mankel.
