He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grady Sherrer and Eunice Irene Timmerman Sherrer; his wife Bonnie Ruth Sherrer; his brothers, Ray of Howard, J. D., James, Junior and Bobby Lee Sherrer; and his son-in-law Albert Palmer.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Joe Sherrer (Tracy), Bonnie Jo Palmer and Vicki Hayes; his grandchildren, Tyler Hayes (Katie), Devin Sherrer, Hayden Hayes (Jessica), Kaley Hollingsworth (Caleb) and Alex Sherrer; and his great grandchildren, Audri, Peyton and Hallie Jo Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home (17885 AL-160, Cleveland, AL 35049). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel (17885 AL-160, Cleveland, AL 35049).
