He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leonard Slayton and Jo Nell Strickland Slayton. He is survived by: his wife Frances Slayton; his daughter Dianne S. Davis (Steve); his grandsons, Patrick Davis (Juli) and Joshua Davis (April); and his great grandchildren, Grayson Davis and Matthew Landrum.
