She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hurst and Winnie Davis Hurst; her husband William Walden Hutto; her son Henry Walden Hutto; and her siblings, Emma Jean Benefield, Susie Nell Cooper, Fred and Skeeter Hurst.

She is survived by: her daughters, Katie Hutto of Clayton, Mary Dickey of Clayton and Martha Hutto Clark (Horace) of Clayton; her sister Lula Mae Shepard; her grandchildren, Trent Dickey, Dawn Hutto Williams, Shannon Hutto Starling, Michelle Andrews, Blake Clark and Olivia Clark; and her great grandchildren, Chaz Dickey, Ashley Dickey, Whittni Barrentine, Brittni Harrell Ashley McDonald, Chaddy Cuanan, Tanner Pittman, Zoe Andrews, Cheyann Clark, Candace Merritt, Trip Starling and Hunter Starling. She is also survived by 9 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
