With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorain Garner of Clayton, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keir W. Walters and Ella Miller Walters; her husband Ralph Garner; and her siblings, Floyd Walters and Annie Mae Little.
She is survived by: her son Carl; her daughter-in-law Nancy Nix Garner of Clayton, Alabama; her grandchildren, Lori Garner Garrett (Hubie) of Banks and Timothy Carl Garner (Britney) of Mountain Brook, Alabama; her great grandchildren, Bailey Kilpatrick (Zachary), Cassidy Lillian Garrett, Daisey Mae Garrett and Margaret Lorraine "Mae" Garner; and her great great grandchildren, Tyler Benjamin Kilpatrick and Jacob Douglas Kilpatrick.
In lieu of the flowers the family asks contributions be made to Clayton Baptist Church- PO Box 4 Clayton, Alabama 36016.
