She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Pete Smith and Judy Hightower Oppert; her stepfather Louis Oppert, Jr.; and her grandparents, Richard, Lena Pearl Hightower, James and Ollie Bell Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Mark S. LaRoche; her children, Kandice Edwards (Clayton), Shannon Golden (Glen), Marcus LaRoche and Joshua LaRoche (Tiffany); her brother Scott Smith (Lynn); her grandchildren, Madison Parker, McKenzie Fulton, Mason Hayes, Faith LaRoche, Macy LaRoche, Adalynn LaRoche, Toby LaRoche and Liam Golden; and her siblings-in-law, Dave LaRoche (Bobbi), Paul McNamara and Maria LaRoche (Sonya Weed).
