She was predeceased by: her parents, William Matthews and Melissa Champion Matthews; her child DeKalb Davis; her husband JB Ammons; and her sisters, Thelma Rogers and Willie Mae Grantham.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Davis (Sheila) of Clayton, Jeff Davis (Dale) of Ozark and Frankie Person of Clayton; her grandsons, Brian Davis (Ashlee), Adam Davis (Crystal) and Matthew Davis; and her great grandchildren, Landon Davis, Luke Davis and Alexis Davis.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Ms. Ammons name to Pleasant Plains Baptist Church c/o Francis Morris- 251 Bowden Road Clayton, Alabama 36016.
