It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Claire Furth of Clayton, Alabama, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Johnson and Elenor Grace Warr Johnson; her husband Jules Furth; her daughter Jane Warr Thornton; and her sister Judy Johnson West.
She is survived by: her son James Roberson (Suzanne) of Clayton; her grandsons, Michael Roberson (Sheri) of St. Augustine, Shane Allen (Chris) of St. Augustine and James "Jamey" Roberson (Suzanne) of Mountain Brook, Alabama; and her great grandchildren, Ian Roberson, Alex Roberson, Avery Allen, Taylor Dixon, Annabelle Roberson and Casey Dixon.
In lieu of flowers the family asked contributions to be made to Clayton Baptist Church- P.O. Box 4 Clayton, Alabama 36016.
