He was predeceased by: his parents, Bunyan Bowden and Jason Benton Wise Bowden; his wife Annie Louise Gachet Bowden; and his brother John Bunyan Bowden. He is survived by: his children, Charles F. Bowden Jr. (Karen) and Donna B. Knight (Jimbo); his brother James Edward Bowden (Karen L.); his grandchildren, Jason Bowden (April), Kevin Bowden, Nicole Dunn (Cyrus) and Joshua Knight (Heather); his great grandchildren, Whitney Mclendon, Trace Anderson, Ashlyn Anderson, John Bowden II, Haley Bowden, Alexis Dunn, Hunter Knight and Emma Dunn; and his great great grandchildren, Lashun Conley, Kayson Conley and Aiden Conley.
