It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tyris Pete Thomas of Clayhatchee, Alabama, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Christopher Thomas; and his siblings, Lucy Moore, Betty Sasnett and Tally Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Betty Thomas of Clayhatchee, AL; his sons, Christopher Thomas (Monika) of Enterprise, AL and Tony Thomas (LeAnn) of Enterprise, AL; his grandchildren, Michelle, Jonathan, Matthew, Lauren, Blake, Caden, Kyleigh, Stephanie, Sierra, Savannah and Kristen; and his siblings, Det Hussey, Peggy Kyser and Royce "Mutt" Thomas. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
