He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Lacey and Sewillow Lacey; and his brothers, Curtis and Calvin Lacey. He is survived by: his wife Billie Mitchell Lacey of Millerville; his son Christopher Lacey (Abbie) of Sylacauga; his grandchildren, Deanna, Drew and Hadley; and his siblings, Karen Parsons (James) of Millerville, Johnnie Lacey (Cindy) of Millerville and Martha Patterson (Charles) of Millerville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
