He was predeceased by: his wife Dot Carr; his parents, Oscar Jackson Carr and Mozell Browning Carr; his siblings, Willard, Otto, Jack, Hoot Carr and Pebble Furr; his sons, Paul Dennis and James Roy Carr; and his great grandchild Terron McCoy Garrett.
He is survived by: his daughter Roxann Horn (Johnny) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Scott Carr (Tracey), Traci Morrow (Jimmy Braden), Stacy Carr (Don Ridley), Christy Kirk (Robbie), Bryan Carr (Debra) and Blake Horn (Cindy); and his great grandchildren, Colton Carr, Tyler Carr, Madeline Morrow, Dalton Yates, Drake Yates, Jaslyn Gamble, Andrew Gamble, Lane Horn, Dustin Horn and Evan Horn.
