He is survived by: his wife Dianne Britt of Ashland; his son James R. Britt Jr. (Pam) of Ashland; his granddaughter Ashley Britt of Ashland; his great grandchild Dominic Jones; his stepdaughter Lisa Ellen Kermick (Gerry); his stepgrandchildren, Ellen, Maegan and Matthew; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Roselyn. He is also survived by 5 sister-in-laws and spouses, 1 brother in-law and spouse.
