He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mitchell and Louise Mitchell; his granddaughter Wendy Renee Mitchell; and his brothers, Sparky, Paul, Lewis, Kenneth and Phillip Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Moore Mitchell of Lineville; his children, Melinda Mitchell Parsons (Danny) of Ashland, Johnny of Lineville, Bruce of Lineville and Shane Mitchell of Lineville; his grandchildren, Tasha Hallman (Tim), Jordon Johnny Mitchell, Jamie Mitchell, Brittany Mitchell (Michael Baker), Jennifer Mitchell and Shannon Suggs (Cody); his great grandchildren, Payton, Alexis, Crimson Hallman, Wendi, Teddy Wayne Mitchell, Sawyer, Waylon Holcombe, Brantley Jones, Mason Suggs, Gracie Mitchell, Madison Suggs and Everleigh Baker; and his sisters, Mary Alice Moore (Jerry) of Lineville, Cora Lee Grogan of Goodwater and Geraldine Williams (James) of Lineville.
