He was predeceased by: his parents, Watt Jenkins and Myrtle Thomas Jenkins; and his sister JoAnn Handley. He is survived by: his wife Pat Jenkins; his children, Melinda Denson (Kenneth), Aimee Hanner (Kennan), Mark Jenkins (Susie) of Lineville and Keith Jenkins of Lineville; and his sisters, Levis Hanner (Roland) of Ashland and Marie Harris (Jimmy) of Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Clay County Rescue Squad – 453 Taylor Road, Lineville, AL 36266.
