He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schoggins and Lena Jones Schoggins; his son Joel Schoggins; and his brothers, Bob and Paul Schoggins.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Schoggins of Lineville; his children, Melinda Owen (Buzz) of Michigan, Chip Mattox (Denise) of Ashland, Michael Schoggins (Kelly) of Ashland and Scott Hill of Lineville; and his sister Judy Walker (Clayton) of Ashland. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and his beloved pet.
