It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean H. Colley of Clay, Alabama, who passed away on December 7, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Dee Hamil and Ressie Mackey Hamil; her daughter Shelia Colley; and her brother Boyd Hamil. She is survived by: her husband Thurber Colley of Mellow Valley; her children, Debbie Horn (Danny) of Ashland and Thurber Clay Colley (T. C.); her grandchildren, Holly Mumper (Matt) of Belton, MO, Clay Colley (Lauren) of Knoxville, TN, Chase Horn (Deidra) of Alexander City, Courtney Johnson (Cliff) and Bryant Horn (Lindsay) of Mountain Brook; her great grandchildren, Madelyn Mumper, Hilt, Hampton Horn, Isla and Lizzie Johnson; and her siblings, Doris McCullers of Dadeville and Floyd Hamil of Fairhope. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
