He was predeceased by: his sister Nettie Sue Hudson of Lineville; his parents, William Larcus Sprayberry and Ora Lee Newell Sprayberry; and his wife Sarah Jo Phillips Sprayberry. He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Knight of Ashland, Ginger Whitley (Bryan) of Lineville and Julie Dingler of Delta; his grandchildren, Jacob Waldrop, Micah Knight, Win Knight and Garrett Dingler; and his great grandchildren, Jaron Waldrop and Braden Waldrop. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
