It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Ann Traywick Abernathy of Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Luther E. Abernathy; and her parents, Otis A. Traywick and Velma C. Traywick. She is survived by: her children, Shonna Loyd (Thomas) and Chris Roper (Shelly); her stepdaughters, Wanda Abernathy and Angela Kinard; her grandchildren, Gage Glenn, Madilyn Loyd, Thomas Shane Loyd, Isabella Roper, Chase Roper and Sydney Seager Morris; and her brother Charles A. Traywick.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West End Baptist Church (2005 2nd Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
