She was predeceased by: her parents, Madison Livingston Day and Lena May Day; her son William J. Erkes, Jr.; and her siblings, Phyllis Hoffner, Madison Day, Charlie Day, Roland "Dick" Day and Paul Day.

She is survived by: her husband William James Erkes, Sr.; her children, Thomas R. Erkes, Gary Erkes (Mary) and Jetta Lepore (John); her grandchildren, Margalena Lepore, James R. Erkes (Susan) and Antonio J. Lepore (Yolandi); and her great grandchildren, Evelyn Ann Erkes and Nathan William Erkes.
