We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024, at the age of 81, John Millard Parrish of Clanton, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Millard Parrish to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mina Parrish and Millard F. Parrish; and his sisters, Helen, Shirley, Jackie and Nancy.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Jones Parrish; his children, David Parrish (LeAnn), DeeDee Parrish (John Kienle) and Denise Connell (Anthony); his grandchildren, Joey Kienle (Dana), Brent Stoll (Ana), Tanner Parrish, Avery Connell and Peyton Browning; and his sister Betty Davis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Martin Funeral Home (1300 4th Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
