He is survived by: his wife Judy Calhoun Dean; his son John Dean III (Penny); his grandchildren, Patricia Lynn Dean, William Lee Davis (Ashley) and Dennis Lee Davis (Sandra); his great grandchildren, Emily Davis, Emma Davis and Linus Davis; his sister Cynthia Dean Clark (Guy); and his nephews, Jason Clark (Adrienne), Matthew Clark (Amber) and Britt Clark (Becca).
